Maison Cacao Launches Summer Collection Invoking Flavorful Journeys

Discover Maison Cacao's Exclusive Summer Collection

Maison Cacao, an aromatic chocolate brand originating from Kamakura and founded by Shingo Ishihara, has announced the launch of its new summer collection, named "MARKET." Starting June 1st and available until August 31st, this collection invites chocolate enthusiasts on a sensory journey through various seasonal flavors reminiscent of exploring local markets.

The concept of the "MARKET" collection embodies the intersection of daily life and culture found in local markets. Here, not just the ingredients but also the stories, scents, sounds, and conversations create a rich tapestry of experiences that define each region.

Maison Cacao's latest offerings are crafted to reflect the essence of summer, particularly the delectable fruits that characterize the season. The collection includes three luxurious types of chocolate, each representing a unique flavor and cultural narrative from Japan.

Featured Aromatic Chocolate Delicacies

1. Aromatic Chocolate CITRON - Priced at 3,240 yen (tax included)
- This exquisite creation highlights the beautiful flavor of Japan's rare domestic lemons, cultivated in Setoda Town, Hiroshima. Known for their exceptional freshness, the lemon peel and juice are harmoniously complemented by the contrasting notes of both bitter and milk chocolate. This single-terroir chocolate vividly expresses the region's natural charm and the citrus fruit's juice.

2. Aromatic Chocolate MARKET - Priced at 3,240 yen (tax included)
- Representing Maison Cacao's identity, this rich dark chocolate showcases the allure of cacao fruits from Colombia's diverse terroirs. Through a unique blend of beans from three regions, it maintains freshness while offering a harmonious melody of citrus and berry notes, followed by a mellow cacao finish that leaves a lasting impression.

3. Aromatic Chocolate PEACHY - Priced at 3,240 yen (tax included)
- This delightful chocolate features peaches from Kasai Farm in Yamanashi City, where 20 varieties are cultivated. Highlighting this year's peak harvest of the “Katsuakane” peach, prized for its tender flesh and high sugar content, this chocolate combines fresh peach puree with both dark and milk chocolate, balancing sweetness with an invigorating flavor.

Indulgent Chocolate Cookies

Also featured in the MARKET collection are the popular Chocolat Cookies MARKET - available for 3,024 yen (tax included) for 12 bags. These cookies offer a delightful crunch that transitions into a silky melt-in-your-mouth experience reminiscent of chocolate truffles. The bites are available in two captivating flavors: a rich dark chocolate and a refreshing passion fruit variant. This exclusive treat mixes the bold taste of single-terroir milk chocolate with the depth of passion fruit flavors.
