Tokyo Realty and Kyoto's Chiemori Institute Unite to Boost Startups



In a significant development for the startup ecosystem in Japan, Tokyo Realty Co., Ltd. and the Chiemori Institute for Industrial Creation in Kyoto have formalized a partnership agreement. This collaboration is particularly aimed at fostering the growth of startups in Kyoto by leveraging the resources and networks of both entities.

Purpose and Goals of the Agreement



The partnership seeks to facilitate open innovation by encouraging Tokyo Realty to connect with Kyoto-based startups. Through programs initiated by the SAKURA DEEPTECH SHIBUYA (SDS), startups participating in accelerator programs will have the chance to collaborate with corporations in Kyoto, further expediting new business creations.

About SAKURA DEEPTECH SHIBUYA



SDS stands as one of the largest global community hubs dedicated to nurturing and supporting startups in the deep tech sector, both domestically and internationally. From June 2025, the Sakura Deeptech Shibuya Accelerator, managed by Scrum Studio, will kick off its program, featuring 10 selected deep tech startups from 28 countries. World-renowned mentors, including professors from MIT and investors from Oxford Science Enterprises, will play pivotal roles in this global initiative, aiming to cultivate and support startups in deep tech.
