This exciting experience will take place on four days: May 30, May 31, June 6, and June 7, 2026, at Yomiuriland, one of Tokyo's popular amusement parks.
The Purpose of Shark Cool Day
The rising temperatures of recent years have made it crucial to incorporate heat management strategies into outdoor leisure activities. Shark Cool Day aims to elevate visitor comfort levels throughout the park. Staff members dressed as sharks, known as Shark People, will engage with guests by utilizing Shark products to help cool them down while they enjoy the rides and attractions at Yomiuriland.
In addition to the cooling experiences, attendees will have the chance to participate in a unique promotional event— a prize draw where guests can win Shark products just by finding the Shark People within the park!
Cool Down Experience
During the event days, visitors will be treated to cooling experiences powered by Shark products. The Shark People will guide guests in utilizing these products while they wait in line for attractions, ensuring that all participants can enjoy a more comfortable experience throughout their visit.
Special Prize Giveaway Campaign
The "#FindTheShark" Shark Product Giveaway Campaign is a highlight of the Shark Cool Day. Participants can take photos with the Shark People and post them on X (formerly Twitter) using the designated hashtag #FindTheShark. Selected winners will receive a Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo, which is a top-of-the-line cordless fan designed to provide relief from the summer heat in style. A total of 60 units will be up for grabs, spread across each event day.
How to Participate in the Contest
1. Spot and take a photo with any of the Shark People at Yomiuriland.
2. Share your photo on X with the hashtag #FindTheShark.
3. Show your post to a Shark Person holding a draw box to enter the contest.
Winners will be notified later and can look forward to their Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo being shipped directly to their homes.
