Joining him is Jeanette Manifold, who takes on the role of Head of Studio. Her previous tenure at renowned companies like DNEG and MPC has seen her successfully manage global teams on significant projects, including Avengers: Infinity War, The Dark Knight, and Wonder Woman. With her expertise in operations, Manifold is expected to foster a dynamic and inclusive team environment, contributing positively to the studio's endeavors.

Expanding Talent in Montreal and London



Javier Roca, an award-winning VFX Supervisor, has come onboard to lead Crafty's Montreal studio. With a distinguished career at Weta FX and Industrial Light & Magic, Roca specializes in supervising intricate CG environments and FX simulations, bringing unparalleled artistic collaboration with elite filmmakers. Currently, he is helming an undisclosed action-comedy project for a major studio.

In London, Crafty Apes welcomes Clare and Jonathan Cheetham. Clare, an Emmy-winning VFX Producer, boasts over 20 years of experience and has worked on acclaimed projects such as Chernobyl and The Martian. She will support the studio’s business development as an Executive VFX Producer. Jonathan also brings a wealth of experience as a VFX Supervisor, contributing to renowned films like Solo: A Star Wars Story and Asteroid City.
