Partnership Announcement
At Home, a real estate information service based in Ota City, Tokyo, has officially partnered with Inheritech, known for its inheritance tax filing web service "Epilog Sōzoku." This collaboration aims to enhance the support available for property owners using the At Home Vacant House Bank.
Purpose of the Partnership
As of May 2025, At Home will launch the "Guide for Vacant House Owners" within its Vacant House Bank. This initiative will provide valuable information and step-by-step guidance for property owners facing issues related to inheritance, management, and utilization of vacant homes. Through the integration of Inheritech's "Epilog Sōzoku," the goal is to facilitate a smoother process for owners to handle inheritance tax filings following the occurrence of inheritance, allowing them to manage their properties more effectively.
Notably, this partnership is poised to alleviate challenges associated with information gathering and procedural requirements linked to inheritance tax. The aim is not only to prevent the abandonment of these properties but also to actively support their management and utilization in a timely manner.
Future Directions
At Home plans to continually improve the resources available within the "Guide for Vacant House Owners." By offering comprehensive information, the company hopes to encourage property owners to proactively manage and utilize vacant houses. Additionally, ongoing collaborations with various companies will enhance access to practical insights and services aimed at addressing vacant house issues.
