Seekr Technologies and Fossefall Partner to Enhance AI Infrastructure in Europe
Seekr Technologies and Fossefall's Strategic Partnership
In a significant move for the artificial intelligence landscape in Europe, Seekr Technologies Inc., a prominent US-based AI firm, has joined forces with Fossefall AS, a leading Norwegian company in AI infrastructure. Announced on November 10, 2025, this partnership is designed to bolster the AI capabilities across Europe through the establishment of low-cost, clean energy data centers, a crucial step given the escalating demand for AI solutions.
As industrial electricity costs in Europe frequently surpass USD 0.15 per kWh, the collaboration capitalizes on the unique advantages offered by Northern Norway. This region's reliance on renewable hydropower allows for remarkably low electricity rates, with averages falling to around 10 øre per kWh (about USD 0.009). Combined with a stable political climate and cool temperatures, Northern Norway presents an ideal location for high-density AI operations.
According to recent forecasts from Fortune Business Insights, Europe's AI infrastructure market is projected to experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 28.3% from 2024 through 2032, with an expected gain of USD 16.86 billion in 2025 alone. In light of this projection, the collaboration between Seekr and Fossefall is positioned to play a critical role in meeting the burgeoning demand for advanced AI solutions.
This agreement not only brings together Seekr's advanced AI software designed for mission-critical applications with Fossefall’s economically and environmentally sustainable energy platform, but also lays the groundwork for a multi-million-dollar initiative. Over the next three years, Seekr will reserve AI capacity while Fossefall will develop a new AI cloud service to be marketed under a revenue-sharing agreement. Specific terms of this commercial arrangement are set to be finalized by the year's end.
Fossefall plans to implement AI factories across Norway and Sweden, effectively merging power generation, energy storage, and AI capabilities into a comprehensive value chain. The company has already secured essential land for development and is in the process of creating multiple sites in the Nordic region, targeting a remarkable 500 megawatts (MW) of operational AI capacity by 2030.
Seekr's proprietary AI platform, SeekrFlow™, will form the backbone of operations in Fossefall's AI factories, facilitating the training and deployment of AI solutions with a focus on accuracy and security. This platform provides the vital explainability and governance features that enterprises and government agencies require, ensuring that AI operations align with rigorous standards.
Øyvind Vesterdal, CEO of Fossefall, expressed optimism regarding this partnership, stating, "This capacity agreement establishes Fossefall's first commercial anchor client and validates our model of converting clean Nordic power into scalable AI infrastructure." He highlighted the importance of SeekrFlow in broadening their capabilities beyond hardware, thus enabling the creation of fully functional, trusted AI factories ready for enterprise use.
Rob Clark, President of Seekr, also emphasized the significance of the partnership, noting, "The structure of our agreement with Fossefall, acting as both investor and customer, permits us to satisfy the relentless demand for accurate, explainable, and sovereign enterprise AI within Europe." He explained that this strategic foundation, powered by clean energy, equips them to offer competitive pricing and performance across various AI applications, whether training models, executing inferences, or deploying from an extensive collection of pre-built, industry-ready applications.
As AI technology increasingly transforms industries and sectors worldwide, the collaboration between Seekr Technologies and Fossefall exemplifies how strategic partnerships can leverage existing resources to foster growth in emerging markets. By utilizing renewable energy and innovative AI solutions, they aim to meet the evolving needs of enterprises and governments in Europe, setting a new standard for sustainable AI infrastructure development.
