Tokyo Prince Hotel Celebrates 62 Years with Autumn Cuisine Festival

In celebration of its 62nd anniversary, the Tokyo Prince Hotel, located at 3-3-1 Shiba Park, Minato, Tokyo, is hosting a special Autumn Cuisine Festival from September 1 to September 30, 2026. This event marks a significant milestone for a hotel that has been a cherished part of Tokyo's hospitality landscape since its opening on September 1, 1964.

Throughout this exciting month, the hotel's four distinguished restaurants will serve unique and delectable menus created exclusively for this occasion, showcasing the tastes of autumn.

One of the highlights of the festival is at WASHOKU Shimizu, where guests can indulge in a sophisticated kaiseki meal featuring the king of mushrooms—Matsutake. A must-try dish is the Matsutake and Sweetfish Steamed in a Pot, a recommendation from the chef that perfectly balances the rich flavors of sweetfish with the aromatic essence of Matsutake. Each dish is crafted to reflect the season's beauty and taste.

Meanwhile, Chinese cuisine at Manrokinen will delight diners with an extravagant course dedicated to Shark Fin. Signature dishes include the much-lauded Shark Fin Soup and other specially curated offerings that highlight the luxurious ingredient. This menu promises to take diners on an exquisite culinary journey that emphasizes gratitude for the hotel's six decades of service.
