The anticipation for the Tokyo 2025 World Athletics Championships is building as ASICS Japan unveils two captivating experiential events designed to celebrate the athletes and the joy of movement. Scheduled to coincide with the championships from September 13 to 21, 2025, these events aim to bring participants closer to the heart and spirit of athletic excellence.

ASICS MOVE STREET: Feel Like an Athlete

The first event, ASICS MOVE STREET, is set to take place in Marunouchi Nakamura Street, Chiyoda, Tokyo, from September 14 to 16, 2025. This immersive experience is rooted in the theme “Feel like an Athlete”, and it is structured into three distinctive zones: “Stillness,” “Movement,” and “Release.” Each area offers a unique opportunity to experience the emotional journey of athletes.

The “Stillness” Zone

Here, participants will be introduced to the world of athletes, feeling the nerves and excitement they face before their big moment. Experience the sounds that echo in the air and view the official uniforms of the Japanese national athletics team. Visitors will also have the chance to engage with mirrors that mimic the starting movements of athletes, creating an engaging and interactive atmosphere.

The “Movement” Zone

This zone focuses on the athletic experience. Participants will have the chance to sprint on a 10m athletics track, capturing their moves in photos and animated videos to preserve their exhilarating experience.

The “Release” Zone

In this space, attendees can express their thoughts and feelings about their experiences participating in athletics. It serves as a reflection area where visitors write down their inspirations, fostering a deeper connection to the upcoming world championships and encouraging ongoing physical activity.

ASICS METASPEED EXPERIENCE: Unveiling Running Technology

Simultaneously, the ASICS METASPEED EXPERIENCE will be hosted at the National Stadium from September 13 to 21, 2025. This event showcases the cutting-edge technology behind the METASPEED series of running shoes, which have been developed specifically for top athletes.

Participants can learn about the technological advancements that enable these shoes to enhance performance while accommodating the natural running styles of athletes. One featured model, the METASPEED RAY, is notably lightweight at approximately 129 grams, making it one of the top choices among long-distance runners.

Attendees at the METASPEED EXPERIENCE will also have opportunities to take digital photos as they interact with the shoes, receiving a special digital photo upon sharing their experience on social media.
