Launch of Sapphire Technology Group Ltd.
On March 9, 2026, renowned fintech executive Keith Todd, announced the formation of a new company based in London, Sapphire Technology Group Ltd. This initiative is centered on two key areas aimed at promoting sustainable growth and profitability within technology enterprises worldwide.
At the heart of Sapphire Technology Group is "The Sapphire Doctrine," a collection of principles meticulously crafted by Todd and his team over the years. These guidelines aim to transform multiple technology ventures, ensuring they are agile, have a clear vision, and foster authentic leadership and culture. The essence of this approach underscores that business is fundamentally a collaborative endeavor, with the best results emerging when all stakeholders thrive.
Todd reflected on his extensive career spanning three decades, primarily in capital markets technology, emphasizing that the Doctrine has matured into a repeatable strategy for achieving success. With this foundational framework, Sapphire Technology Group is poised to facilitate significant advancements in the technology sector.
Sapphire's Key Initiatives
The company has identified two primary initiatives. The first, called Sapphire Leadership, is a comprehensive program designed for C-suite executives. This initiative aims to deepen their understanding and application of the Sapphire Doctrine. The inaugural event, dubbed Sapphire Transform 2026, is set to take place in Boulder, Colorado from September 21 to 25, 2026. This exclusive, invite-only gathering is geared towards helping executives enrich their abilities and strategic insight, thereby optimizing their business practices for sustainable, scalable growth.
The second initiative is a partnership with Charlesbank Capital Partners, a notable US private equity firm. This collaboration aims to target high-growth potential within capital markets, applying the Sapphire Doctrine to enhance operational efficiency and foster long-term value creation. Todd commented on the pressing need for organizations in capital markets to tackle complex challenges exacerbated by rapid technological advancements and ever-evolving regulatory landscapes. He believes that firms need to embrace transformation with meticulous attention and disciplined execution, and that Sapphire, in tandem with Charlesbank, will leverage their considerable operational savvy and historical success in fostering significant cultural change to ensure stakeholder-aligned growth.
To further bolster its mission, Sapphire Technology Group plans to announce additional team members in the upcoming months. The Sapphire Leadership events will be meticulously designed and executed in collaboration with Josef Schroeter and Chris Cherrington from Kintail Consulting.
