RedMane Technology Welcomes New Leadership
RedMane Technology LLC, based in Chicago, is making headlines with the recent appointment of John Murray as their new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 11, 2026. The company is renowned for its specialized software solutions and systems integration in the health and human services sector, and Murray's leadership is anticipated to drive its ongoing growth and expand its influence in these vital areas.
A Leader with Extensive Experience
Murray’s career spans over two decades, during which he has gathered substantial experience in management consulting, government affairs, and technology-driven organizations. His journey began with a five-year tenure in the U.S. Marine Corps, followed by his six years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. His work during this period involved serving a diverse range of global clients, which provided him with a deep understanding of management dynamics and strategies.
In addition to his consulting experience, Murray played a pivotal role in the Chicago 2016 Olympic bid as the Chief Bid Officer, showcasing his capability to lead complex initiatives. This experience was further complemented by his time at Accenture, where he served as the Global Managing Director for the 'Delivering Public Service for the Future' practice, enabling him to influence public sector improvements on a large scale.
A Vision for Growth
Murray's appointment comes at a time when RedMane is experiencing significant upward momentum. Recently, the company secured a contract with the Kansas Department for Children and Families to design and implement a new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS), valued at $44 million, reinforcing their commitment to enhancing child welfare services across the states.
Tony Lakier, the Founding Member and President of RedMane, expressed strong confidence in Murray’s capabilities. “John is a people-first leader with deep experience in public service and organizational growth,” Lakier stated. He emphasized Murray's understanding of team-building and commitment to maintaining the organization's core values.
Murray himself conveyed eagerness in stepping into what he refers to as a significant role. “RedMane has built something truly special. I look forward to working closely with this talented team to build on that foundation and to navigate RedMane into its next chapter,” he said. His leadership is expected to not only enhance the company’s initiatives but also to fortify its commitment to making meaningful impacts on communities throughout North America.
RedMane’s Legacy in Human Services
Founded in 2000, RedMane has carved a niche in creating and optimizing systems for health and human services organizations, with a focus on child welfare, critical case management, and child support. The company prides itself on developing successful systems for adult protective services and benefits eligibility across multiple states, including Alaska, California, and Florida, among others. Their client network extends throughout North America, collaborating with Indigenous Peoples communities, various U.S. territories, and Canadian provinces.
Murray's leadership is expected to align with RedMane's mission to leverage its value-driven approach to service delivery while also innovating to meet contemporary challenges posed in the health and human services landscape.
