From July 23 to August 5, 2026, the company collaborated with DeNA at Wonderia Yokohama to host engaging workshops focused on environmental education. This initiative aligns with Wonderia’s summer event, "Summer Wonderia 2026," and promotes sustainability through crafting workshops using returnable bottles.

Background of the Workshop

In a world increasingly affected by plastic pollution, Aqua Clara Group aims to mitigate the impact of waste through a strategy of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R). The workshops at Wonderia Yokohama provided a platform to educate children about the adverse effects of ocean plastic waste and the importance of resource circulation. Participants could immerse themselves in a tactile experience that encouraged them to think about what actions they could take to protect marine life.

Crafting Original Trays

The workshop titled "Make a Tray from an Empty Water Bottle with Aqua Clara x Wonderia Yokohama!" allowed children to create brilliant trays using high-quality beads derived from used Aqua Clara returnable bottles. The children learned about the ocean environment as they joyfully selected motifs like whales, sea turtles, and jellyfish to design their creations.

Connecting Experiences to Environmental Actions

The workshop included educational segments focused on the marine plastic waste crisis and its effects on ocean creatures. It was heartening to see the children engaged and listening attentively, showcasing their interest in learning about serious environmental issues. As a part of the experience, Aqua Clara set up water dispensers providing delicious, safe water for participants. Summer Wonderia 2026

From July 17 through August 31, 2026, Wonderia Yokohama held the Summer Wonderia event, themed around the movements of living creatures. The immersive experience not only sparked children's interest in the ocean and nature but also aimed to deepen their appreciation for the environment.
