Grupo Adelaïde Achieves Strong Growth and European Expansion in 2025

Grupo Adelaïde: Solidifying Growth in 2025

In 2025, Grupo Adelaïde showcased its robust business model with an impressive aggregate turnover of €495 million, reflecting a significant 10% increase compared to the previous year. This performance is a testament to the company's strategic initiatives and effectiveness within the European market, particularly in the insurance brokerage and consulting sectors.

Key components of this growth include a 9.5% rise in the brokerage and consulting segments, accounting for €344 million in revenue. The management division, branded as Génération, achieved a commendable 10% growth, bringing in €134 million. Additionally, the insurance distribution and underwriting businesses, known as Cocoon and Dune, reported a remarkable 20% increase in revenues, reaching €17 million.

A notable achievement for Grupo Adelaïde was its outstanding customer satisfaction ratings, recorded at 88%, alongside a retention rate of 95%. Furthermore, international operations contributed 24% to the overall revenue, indicating the group’s expanding footprint beyond its home market.

Gilles Bénéplanc, Deputy CEO of Grupo Adelaïde, stated, “In a market still impacted by geopolitical tensions, our progress underscores the resilience of our business model and the trust of our clients.” The growth was driven throughout the entire value chain of insurance brokerage, with several key initiatives launched to bolster this expansion.

Among the significant moves was the acquisition of EBCam by Verlingue in the UK and ongoing acquisitions of business portfolios and talent in Italy. The stake in Angelus Courtage has increased, and a new investment in Antoma Courtage was also confirmed, reflecting the group's commitment to a strategic growth approach.

In particular, Verlingue, one of the top 20 brokerage firms in France, reported €323 million in revenue, a modest 3% increase that reflects sustained demand and effective business strategies. Angelus Courtage experienced remarkable growth, achieving €21 million in revenue—a 30% increase.

The Génération division maintained its organic growth with €134 million in revenue, fueled by strong demand for individual and collective health insurance and life insurance products. To support its expanding operations, the company has continued to enhance its operational structure by opening new offices in France and Portugal. Cocoon achieved €14 million in revenue, marking a 10% increase, mainly driven by the expanding individual health insurance market for those exiting collective plans. Meanwhile, Dune reported a significant growth surge with earnings of €3 million, up 50%.

Amidst this growth, Grupo Adelaïde remains committed to executing its strategic plan, labeled Better Future 28. Chairman and CEO Benjamin Verlingue remarked, “Our ambition remains unchanged—to build a leading, independent European group utilizing the strength of our business model, the quality of our workforce, and a structured and sustainable growth strategy.”

With over 3,100 employees and 5.1 billion euros in premiums negotiated, Grupo Adelaïde is well-positioned in the European insurance market, boasting a clientele of 2.8 million insured individuals covered for health insurance. The group continues to thrive in five European countries, laying a strong foundation for future growth.
