Exciting Formation of sokoiko! Cycling Tours Collaborative Council in Five Areas

Introduction to sokoiko! Cycling Tours

The sokoiko! Cycling Tours has a new milestone as it officially established a council on September 2, 2025. This initiative brings together five regions – Hiroshima, Kitahiroshima Town (Oasa), Tsuwano, Asuka Village, and Tokyo. The aim is clear: to boost tourism, improve profitability, and strengthen brand identity.

The formation of this council comes with the support of the Japan Tourism Agency's 2025 initiative for developing profitable tourism content. With a focus on story-telling cycling experiences, the council will enhance tourism offerings and establish sustainable operational frameworks.

To kick off these efforts, a networking event titled "sokoiko! Networking Event" will take place on December 9, 2025. This gathering aims to bring together guides and operators from the five regions to discuss collaborative strategies and brand development plans.

  • - Location: Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, 5th Floor Studio
