Maid Brigade Appoints Danessa Itaya as New Brand President to Lead Growth
Maid Brigade, a prominent name in the residential cleaning franchise sector, has recently made headlines with the announcement of Danessa Itaya's appointment as Brand President. This move marks a significant step forward for the company as it seeks to enhance its operational capabilities and expand its market presence throughout North America.
Danessa Itaya brings a wealth of experience to her new role, boasting over 25 years in franchise development, multi-brand operations, and system expansion. Her remarkable track record includes leadership positions in various franchises, most notably as the President of Bio-One, a Five Star Franchising brand that has successfully established over 135 locations across the United States. During her tenure there, she implemented transformative measures focusing on system modernization, customer relationship management (CRM) integration, and the growth of national accounts, which contributed significantly to the brand's success.
Prior to Bio-One, Itaya served as the President of Property Management Inc., where she played a pivotal role in elevating the company from 233 to over 380 franchise locations nationally and internationally, ensuring consistent growth in both earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) and same-store sales. Her previous experiences also include holding the Vice President position at Premium Franchise Brands – Maid Right, where she was instrumental in scaling the residential cleaning master franchise model, earning recognition from Entrepreneur Magazine's Top New Franchises and Franchise 500 lists.
Throughout her illustrious career, Itaya has held crucial leadership roles with Service Brands International, working with established franchises such as Molly Maid and Mr. Handyman. Her commitment to social responsibility is exemplified by her involvement with the Ms. Molly Foundation, where she led initiatives that raised over $1.25 million to support domestic violence shelters nationwide.
Ryan Parsons, CEO of Evive Brands, the parent company of Maid Brigade, expressed confidence in Itaya's leadership, stating, "Danessa knows the residential services space inside and out. She has a proven track record of facilitating growth in franchise systems by supporting owners, building strong teams, and maintaining a customer-centric focus.
