On September 3, 2025, Alejandro G. Przygoda, a seasoned financial consultant with over three decades of experience in major transactions worldwide, unveiled his new venture, Przygoda & Co. LLC, in New York City. This independent investment banking firm aims to bring high-level strategic advisory services to CEOs, executive teams, boards of directors, private equity firms, and other strategic investors, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, shareholder activism, and capital raising.

Background on Alejandro Przygoda

Before establishing Przygoda & Co., Alejandro Przygoda held several key positions in investment banking. From 2021 to 2025, he served as Co-Head of Global Investment Banking and Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group at Jefferies. His previous tenure of 18 years at Credit Suisse saw him rise to the Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group in the final 10 years. Przygoda’s career in investment banking kicked off in 1995 with CS First Boston in New York, followed by prominent roles at Greenhill and UBS. He was also the CFO of General Re’s Argentine subsidiary between 1990 and 1993.

Przygoda holds an MBA from The Wharton School, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar, denoting his status in the top 5% of his class. He also achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, graduating at the top of his class, and earned his CPA designation in Argentina. Contributing to academia, Przygoda frequently lectures at Wharton on topics like activism defense and mergers and acquisitions and serves on the board of the Collegiate School in New York City.
