Leap Announces the 2025 Live and Learn Scholarship Winners
Leap has proudly unveiled the recipients of its annual Live and Learn Scholarship, aimed at supporting students living in housing communities backed by the company's Guarantor Waiver Program. This year marks a significant milestone, with a total of $50,000 in scholarships awarded to students who articulated their views on affordable housing and its influence on mental well-being. The scholarship encouraged students to delve into two critical themes:
1.
Affordable Student Housing – Addressing financial challenges and exploring feasible solutions to enhance housing accessibility.
2.
Community and Mental Well-being in Housing – Investigating the impact of student living conditions on mental health and identifying strategies to foster supportive environments.
Leap received an impressive 250 submissions from students nationwide, showcasing their unique insights and experiences. A panel comprised of members from the Leap Student Housing Advisory Board, which includes industry professionals in student housing, meticulously reviewed the top 25 essays. Students were evaluated based on their creativity, depth of insight, and personal experiences related to housing challenges.
