Borderless Group's New Initiative: STENACTION
On May 30, 2025, in line with Japan's Zero Waste Day, the Borderless Group announced the launch of a transformative new project called STENACTION. This initiative is aimed at connecting communities through five actionable steps toward reducing waste and fostering a sustainable future.
What is STENACTION?
STENACTION, a blend of “STENAI” (meaning 'not to discard' in Japanese) and “ACTION,” is a collective effort by the Borderless Group, which operates over 50 social businesses across 13 countries. The project's primary goal is to encourage everyday actions that contribute to a better future by emphasizing the importance of not discarding resources unnecessarily.
The initiative was strategically launched on May 30, chosen for its association with “zero waste” (530) and serves as a nationwide call for social action focused on environmental beautification through collective cleaning efforts by individuals, companies, and municipalities.
Borderless Group believes that initiating conversations around waste and environment at this opportune time will allow them to share their vision of a sustainable future with a broader audience.
