Groupe Adelaïde Achieves Significant Growth in 2024
Groupe Adelaïde has confirmed its strong growth trajectory with a remarkable revenue of €450 million in 2024, marking an impressive 12.5% increase compared to the previous year. This achievement not only showcases the effectiveness of the company's strategic plan, known as
Better Future 28, but also reinforces its commitment to becoming the leading independent family insurance broker in Europe. The company aims for an ambitious revenue target of €800 million by the year 2028.
Benjamin Verlingue, the CEO of Groupe Adelaïde, stated, "Our 2024 performance validates our strategy and the robustness of our independent family model. The
Better Future 28 plan, launched just nine months ago, embodies our collective ambition to build a European brokerage leader while staying true to our core values."
Strategic Acquisitions Fuel Growth
In 2024, Groupe Adelaïde marked a year of strategic acquisitions, enriching its market position in the brokerage sector. The company completed four significant acquisitions designed to diversify its expertise and expand its geographical footprint across Europe:
1.
DUNE (France): This Managing General Agent (MGA) specializes in construction insurance, enabling the group to broaden its insurance distribution capabilities.
2.
ProConseils Solutions (Switzerland): This acquisition marked Verlingue's debut in the Romandy region, marking a vital step in its market expansion efforts.
3.
MBB and Brixia Broker (Italy): Two broker acquisitions that significantly enhance the local presence of Inser, a Verlingue subsidiary in Italy.
These acquisitions are not merely expansions; they represent a thoughtful strategy to enhance the company's service offerings and strengthen its market competitiveness.
A Year of Growth and Transformation
The year 2024 was characterized by dynamic development for Groupe Adelaïde, highlighted by robust performance and strategic investments across its various subsidiaries. Verlingue recorded a revenue of €314 million in 2024, reflecting a 10% growth. With expanding operations in both France and Europe through successful acquisitions in Italy and Switzerland, the international segment now constitutes an impressive 37% of Verlingue’s revenue.
Vincent Harel’s appointment as General Manager of Verlingue earlier this year has strengthened the company’s strategic direction, fostering a deeper commitment to growth and innovation.
In parallel, Génération, a specialist in health and welfare management, exhibited remarkable growth, achieving an 18% revenue increase for the year, totaling €121 million. Furthermore, Cocoon, a subsidiary focused on individual health insurance, has successfully restructured its portfolio, enhancing its digital channels and supporting profitable growth that yielded €13 million in revenue.
DUNE, which joined the Groupe in 2024 as a specialist in construction insurance, has already underwritten €10 million worth of premiums, demonstrating its strong strategic potential and reinforcing the Group's service capabilities.
