Edo Tokyo Symposium: A Journey Through History
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is pleased to announce the inaugural "Edo Tokyo" symposium, aimed at enhancing tourism and inviting both domestic and international visitors to uncover the rich history and culture that continues to thrive in Tokyo. This event is designed for all residents, students, and employees in Tokyo, offering a platform to share and discuss the many charms and values of the region.

- - Venue: Kanda Myojin Hall, 2-16-2 Soto-Kanda, Chiyoda City, Tokyo, 2nd Floor of Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center
- - Capacity: First 150 registrants who reside, study, or work in Tokyo
Note: The event will also be streamed online, and registration is required for access.
This symposium aims to deepen understanding and affection for Edo and Tokyo by providing a substantial learning opportunity. Participants are encouraged to connect with the cultural resources of the area, fostering a welcoming environment for tourists and locals alike.

- - Panel Discussion
- Architect and University of Tokyo Graduate School Professor, Manabu Chiba
- Copywriter and CEO of Shonan Story Branding Institute, Tetsuya Kawakami
- The 2nd Generation Leader of Kyotoflo Dancing, Umon Kyotoflo
- Facilitator and Quiz Writer, Hitomi Kondo
Attendees will also have the chance to engage with speakers and gain insights into the continuing legacy of Edo culture in Tokyo. A recording of the symposium will be available for viewing on our website after the event concludes.
