Collaboration between Joshibi Art University and Hit
A remarkable collaboration is set to take place in Shibuya as Hit Co., Ltd. partners with Joshibi Art University for a special exhibition titled "Joshibi x Hit Vision Collaboration Exhibition". This event, scheduled from August 4 to August 31, 2025, will feature video works crafted by students as part of their curriculum, showcased on the large digital billboards known as "Shibu Hachi Hit Vision" and "Synchro 7 Shibuya Hit Vision".
The exhibition will present pieces from 13 talented students, allowing their creative expressions to reach a prominent audience in one of Tokyo's busiest areas. This initiative is part of Hit’s ongoing commitment to connecting digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising with innovative artistic expression.
Background of the Collaboration
Hit Co., Ltd., headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, has made significant strides in outdoor advertising since its inception in 1991. With a strong focus on DOOH creative production, Hit has continuously pushed the boundaries of advertising technology, notably through its pioneering work with “naked-eye 3D” displays that have garnered notable attention. Earlier this year, the company showcased works from international artists under the theme "THIS IS MOTION DESIGN," reinforcing its position as a platform for creative talent.
The driving force behind this collaboration is to inspire the next generation of creators from Joshibi Art University to engage with outdoor advertising. By providing students with exposure to large-scale platforms, the project aims to ignite their interest and passion for the advertising industry as they prepare to enter the professional world.
