• - RESIST XTR™: This advanced line of colorants adapts to the rigorous demands of high-performance applications, such as battery connectors in electric vehicles (EVs). Formulated for extreme temperature processing, RESIST XTR™ ensures thermal stability and excellent lightfastness, making it ideal for technical polymers.

• - Hyperform® HPN® 58ei: This latest nucleating agent for polypropylene enhances optical performance, isotropic shrinkage, and the overall quality of polypropylene parts. It achieves a well-balanced combination of stiffness and impact resistance, making it suitable for various packaging applications, including beverages and electronics.

• - LeneX™ UGN-52: An innovative technology for enhancing barrier properties, LeneX improves the performance of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) films and containers. These enhancements facilitate downgauging, allowing for reduced material use while improving the recyclability of polyethylene products.

• - EXPLAZ™: This optimized laser marking solution for polyamides provides a natural white appearance, which offers minimal optical interference with the base polymer, catering well to white or light-colored polyamide compounds. With effective performance at low loading levels, EXPLAZ does not compromise on aesthetic quality during processing.

With growing industry demands for clarity in polypropylene products akin to ultra-clear materials, Milliken will also introduce next-generation additives that deliver optimized performance at lower concentrations. This development enhances aesthetics and decreases extraction rates for food-contact applications and is expected to replace traditional intermediate materials.

In addition to these innovative products, Milliken is strengthening its commitment to collaboration with recent partnerships involving PolyChim, OQ, and over thirty more strategic alliances showcased at this year’s K Fair. • - Polychim: Booth B78 in Hall 13 featuring a polypropylene cup made from HS45XI homopolymer resin, enhanced with Milliken’s Millad® clarifiers.
• - A.D.: Also at Booth B78, showcasing a recycled polypropylene cup with enhanced transparency.
• - Haitian: Booth A57 in Hall 15 displaying two-liter buckets made with Carmel CAPILENE® QW 80 AV random copolymer resin, clarified with Milliken's products.
• - Tederic: Booth D40 in Hall 15 showcasing HDPE closures enhanced with Milliken® polyethylene barrier additives.
