MDA Space Launches New MDA CHORUS Product lineup

The introduction of this comprehensive suite of products precedes the eagerly awaited launch of the MDA CHORUS satellite constellation, set to occur later this year.

The MDA CHORUS product line capitalizes on the capabilities of the company's next-generation MDA CHORUS constellation. Featuring products such as MDA CHORUS COMMAND, MDA CHORUS COMMAND PRO, and MDA CHORUS INTELLIGENCE, the suite enables customers to customize, manage, and control their geointelligence workflows—from data collection planning to task management and actionable insights.

As the operational entry point of the ecosystem, this intuitive platform allows users to perform archival searches, define areas of interest, set imaging priorities, provide cues and markers, and schedule acquisitions. It includes application programming interface (API) connectors, guides, and a knowledge hub, simplifying and consolidating customer access to MDA CHORUS.

MDA CHORUS COMMAND PRO

This advanced solution maximizes system control for customers by integrating an MDA CHORUS regional ground station directly into their operations. It provides direct downlink capabilities and near-real-time local processing, effectively eliminating latency and offering the independence essential for defense and critical infrastructure clients.

MDA CHORUS INTELLIGENCE

This complete suite of data and geointelligence analytics leverages decades of EO expertise, covering marine awareness, ship detection, oil spill analysis, ground displacement, and energy infrastructure monitoring. It utilizes satellite imagery and real-time EO telemetry, along with value-added Geographic Information System (GIS) data files and integrated third-party data products.

The MDA CHORUS Constellation

The MDA CHORUS product line is built upon the MDA CHORUS constellation, which consists of three satellites that integrate two new spacecraft—one operating in X-band and the other in C-band. This constellation will provide high-frequency revisit imagery in all weather conditions, supported by RADARSAT-2, the company's leading Earth observation platform already in orbit.

The recent product announcement follows last month's official opening of MDA’s new CHORUS control center, marking another significant milestone towards operational readiness as the momentum builds for the constellation's launch at the end of 2026.
