The assets acquired from F85 include a major toll processing operation situated on the Steel Dynamics' Sinton, Texas campus, which is in close proximity to Bull Moose’s own steel pipe and tube manufacturing mill. This facility houses one of North America’s largest slitters, capable of processing steel coils of varying widths—from 36 inches to 87 inches— and weights reaching up to 105,000 pounds. With this advanced technology, Bull Moose can produce slit mults sized from 7 inches to 85 inches and gauges ranging from .074 inches to .750 inches, accommodating a wide array of customer specifications.
According to Bull Moose's CEO, John Krupinski, this acquisition is pivotal for the company as it aligns with the growing business levels in Sinton.
