KT League Season 3: A New Era for Kushikatsu Tanaka
In an exciting development for the restaurant industry, Kushikatsu Tanaka has announced the results of the first half of its KT League Season 3, which ran from November 2024 to April 2025. Under the leadership of President Toshio Sakamoto, this innovative human resources system aims to transform the dining experience by prioritizing customer satisfaction and community engagement.
Key Highlights of KT League Season 3
The KT League divides all Kushikatsu Tanaka locations into three tiers: KT1, KT2, and KT3. Points are awarded based on customer feedback and internal contests rather than solely on sales performance. This method reflects the genuine support from patrons, allowing a more meaningful evaluation of each store's contribution to the overall brand.
The top three stores in each league are as follows:
KT1 (Top League)
1. Joetsu Takada Store, Niigata
2. Hachiōji Ekimae Store
3. Nagano Store
KT2 (Second League)
1. Chikusa Store
2. Tamachi Store
3. Higashikurume Store
KT3 (Third League)
1. Shin-Omiya Store
2. Sugamo Store
3. Sano Store
The Road Ahead: KT League Season 3 Second Half
The subsequent phase of the season will occur from May to October. Following this period, a preliminary competition will be held for the top ten stores within the KT1 based on their cumulative points. The three stores that excel in this competition will then participate in the KT League’s grand championship event, set to take place in March 2026 during the Kushikatsu Tanaka General Meeting. This approach reinforces the slogan, “To the top with a smile,” as all 331 locations strive for the title of the world’s most rewarding and cheerful restaurant.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Kushikatsu Tanaka aims to foster community-based stores that contribute actively to local society. To support this vision, they are seeking organizations and companies that align with the KT League’s philosophy as sponsors. Contributions from supporters will be invested back into the stores and their employees, enhancing their livelihoods while promoting a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Contract periods are either six months or one year.
- A portion of the contributions will be allocated to improving employee satisfaction and overall morale.
The Philosophy Behind KT League

Its catchphrase, “To the top with a smile,” encapsulates the commitment of Kushikatsu Tanaka to uplift its staff and customers alike. This spirit drives their endeavor to create new and valuable experiences within the dining sector, setting a new benchmark for what it means to deliver exceptional service.
