New Seasonal Treats Unveiled by Negawakuba for Spring 2026

Celebrate Spring with Negawakuba's New Seasonal Menu

As spring approaches, the renowned specialty shop Negawakuba, managed by Shizuoka Mokko Co., Ltd., is thrilled to announce the launch of its new seasonal menu. Starting February 28, 2026, customers can indulge in two delightful treats inspired by the beauty and symbolism of cherry blossoms.

The first item is the Enmusubi no Goshio Ice Fukasaku Sakura, a creative twist on their classic salt ice cream. This limited-time offering features a delicate layer of sweet sakura bean paste and a fluffy matcha chiffon cake made from rice flour, presenting a perfect blend of flavors that embody the essence of spring. Each serving is adorned with soft three-colored dango and complemented by a sprinkle of sakura chocolate flakes, ensuring a melt-in-your-mouth experience.

In an accompanying upgrade, customers can opt for a delightful set that includes a taste of traditional Japanese red tea sourced from the auspicious Izumo City in Shimane Prefecture, known for its positive effects on wellbeing. The set offers a delightful choice with a price of ¥1000 (tax included) for dine-in and ¥982 for take-out.

A Refreshing Sakura Bubble Drink

The second item on the menu is the Sakura Bubble, offered in two variations: with or without sake. The drink combines a gentle sakura syrup with sparkling water, creating a refreshing, effervescent experience reminiscent of spring. Whether enjoyed without alcohol, garnished with preserved cherry blossoms and mint, or with a special junmai sake sourced from Mie Prefecture, each sip offers a delightful balance of sweetness and a hint of saltiness.

The non-alcoholic version is priced at ¥600 for dine-in and ¥589 for take-out, while the sake-infused variant is available for ¥650 and ¥638 respectively. This drink captures the spring essence while ensuring a unique flavor experience that aligns with the concept of good fortune.

Complimentary Omikuji and Kagura Bells Experience

At Negawakuba, every customer who orders either Enmusubi no Goshio Ice Fukasaku Sakura or Sakura Bubble will receive a complimentary original omikuji, or fortune slip, promoting personal reflection and connection to their wishes. The omikuji includes uplifting messages aimed to inspire and guide patrons for the future.

Customers will also be invited to partake in a unique experience where they can ring a Kagura bell—traditionally used in Shinto rituals. This experience is designed to create a space for prayer, allowing guests to express their hopes while enjoying these delightful spring treats. The crisp sound of the bell adds an extra layer of engagement, enveloping visitors in the serene ambiance of Negawakuba.
