Portico Benefit Services has made a strategic move by appointing Paul Sterling as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective July 14, 2025. Sterling comes to Portico with a robust background in health care leadership that includes roles in strategy, finance, and product innovation. Prior to his current appointment, he served as COO at the Employer Health Innovation Roundtable (EHIR), a company under the World50 Group umbrella. His previous positions include senior leadership roles at renowned organizations such as UnitedHealthcare and Optum, as well as strategic consulting positions at Accenture, providing him with a wealth of knowledge that will benefit Portico.
