Sharp Expands Long-Term Warranty for Key Display Categories
Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a branch of Sharp Electronics Corporation, has recently expanded its five-year limited warranty to include large format displays and collaboration displays alongside laser projectors. This strategic move underscores Sharp's commitment to providing enduring product performance and exceptional service.
As a leader in the commercial display sector, Sharp emphasizes quality, longevity, and performance in its offerings. This expanded warranty program is intended to reassure businesses that they can depend on Sharp products for extended periods, thereby promoting a sense of trust and confidence in their purchasing decisions. Previously, the five-year warranty covered only PN-P large format displays, AQUOS BOARD® displays, and all business projectors. The inclusion of collaboration displays and laser projectors illustrates Sharp's dedication to meeting customer expectations for durability and reliability.
"Sharp's legacy revolves around engineering top-of-the-line products supported by outstanding service. We believe that combining these attributes with a robust warranty program offers our customers the lowest total cost of ownership in the display market," said Rob Davis, Vice President of Solutions and Service at Sharp. Notably, Davis also highlighted that a standard five-year warranty differentiates Sharp products within the marketplace, signaling a significant investment in product quality and lifecycle value.
As part of this initiative, Anthony Cuellar, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Diversified, stated, "Having a solid five-year warranty enhances the perception of value and reliability for our customers. It allows us to confidently support every deployment and assures customers of the product's durability in the long run."
Starting from July 1, 2026, the expanded warranty will apply to virtually all large format and collaboration displays, as well as laser projectors. Interestingly, all direct-view LED displays (dvLEDs) purchased from this date will also automatically qualify for this promotional five-year limited warranty. However, it is important to note that there are certain exclusions, including the PN-E Series Large Format models.
