Adidas Japan has just revealed its latest innovation in performance footwear, the CODECHAOS 27 series. This shoe combines comfort, grip, and stability, marking the fourth generation of the CODECHAOS line. Specifically designed for golfers, the CODECHAOS 27 promises to enhance performance over long rounds, offering tour-level grip and balance.

One of the marquee features of this new model is the AXISLOCK torsion system, a technology debuting for the first time in the CODECHAOS series. This system integrates a unique midsole structure that connects both sides and the sole of the foot, wrapping the heel and extending asymmetrically towards the toes. This design aims to provide simultaneous comfort while walking and stability during swings, elevating on-course performance.

Moreover, the shoe includes the newly developed TWISTSKIN upper material, characterized by its blend of flexibility and water resistance. The distinctive fabric structure enhances areas needing stretch and stability, achieving an unrivaled fit. The BOA® model uses a microfibre leather upper for extra flexibility, while the lace model features an ultra-thin PU film, catering to various preferences and playing styles.

For grip and comfort, the TWISTGRIP outsole has evolved significantly, improving grip functions by 20% compared to previous models. By increasing the contact area, the outsole not only delivers exceptional grip but also distributes pressure evenly across the foot for comfort. The BOA® model utilizes a complete TPU TWISTGRIP for strong stability, while the lace model combines it with highly adaptable ADIWEAR® rubber for impressive grip and comfort.

In a first for the series, the CODECHAOS 27 has a full-length BOOST midsole. This design removes previous structural limitations, allowing for direct access to the responsive and soft cushioning of the BOOST material. With specialized outsole wrap structures and a rounded heel for added cushioning, the shoe promises unparalleled walking comfort.

Adidas also offers the CODECHAOS 27 BOA, featuring the BOA Fit System along with a Performance Fit® Wrap that secures the foot inside the shoe for increased stability. This innovative design envelops the entire foot for a customized fit while maintaining water resistance thanks to the TWISTSKIN upper. With its zippered cover, players can adjust the fit to suit their needs or preferences.
