CORNEX, a pioneering company in the new energy technology sector, has recently launched its innovative 588Ah energy storage battery cell. This battery is specifically tailored to meet the demands of grid-scale energy solutions, highlighting CORNEX’s commitment to advancing technology in the energy sector.

The unveiling of the 588Ah battery cell took place during a dedicated event, presided over by the company's Executive Vice President, Bu Xiangnan, alongside key stakeholders including industry partners and media representatives. The launch signifies a major step forward for CORNEX in providing sustainable energy solutions.

Technical Specifications


This next-generation battery cell boasts impressive specifications. With a mass energy density of 190 Wh/kg and a volumetric energy density of 419 Wh/L, the 588Ah cell promises remarkable efficiency with a reported energy efficiency rate of 96.5%. These characteristics make it an attractive option for various applications, particularly those requiring large-scale energy storage.

CORNEX has also introduced its 588-CTP2.0 energy storage solution, which maximizes efficiency by reducing the variety and quantity of materials used in production by 20%. This innovative design achieves a mass energy density of 170 Wh/kg and a volumetric density of 285 Wh/L. The safety features include a heat-resistant insulation layer capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 1000°C, significantly mitigating risks associated with battery thermal runaway.
