Inland Empire Health Plan Shines with 22 Awards at ADDY Gala 2025
The Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) has made headlines by winning a remarkable
22 awards during the American Advertising Federation-Inland Empire's (AAFIE) annual ADDY Awards Gala. This prestigious event took place on
March 21, 2025, at the Life Arts Center in Riverside, California, showcasing the excellence of local advertising talent across various categories including print, digital campaigns, and podcasts.
Among the accolades, IEHP proudly secured
two gold medals. Their successful campaigns exemplify the creativity and impact of their messaging within the community, emphasizing storytelling that resonates with unique experiences. The notable video campaign titled
“Start the Conversation,” featuring
Abi Carter, the winner of
American Idol 2024, garnered gold in both the
Public Service Online Film and
Video Sound categories.
In addition to the gold awards, IEHP's successful run at the awards ceremony included recognition in various forms. As IEHP's Chief Communications and Marketing Officer
Michelle Rai stated,
“Our campaigns are designed to share the Inland Empire's unique stories and invite our communities to see a reflection of themselves.” This philosophy clearly reflects in the numerous campaigns recognized at the event.
Of the 26 projects submitted by IEHP, nearly
85% received awards, indicating a significant improvement from the previous year when the organization was honored with
10 ADDY awards, including two gold. The outstanding recognition places IEHP firmly in contention for the
American Advertising Federation's District 15 competition, where they will compete against the best from Southern California and Southern Nevada.
The successful award entries included:
- - A “Start Well” welcome kit targeted at new health plan members in addition to the prior mentioned video campaign.
- - Silver awards for 2025 Annual Quality Report, “Pride Month Advice for 16-Year-Old You?” Corporate Social Responsibility video, and several innovative direct mail pieces, including an invitation to the IEHP Mission Conference 2024.
- - Bronze awards for a variety of categories, highlighting their creative efforts in podcasts, print media, and public service announcements.
The recognition does not just demonstrate IEHP's commitment to excellence but also reinforces their mission.
Bokanika Kan, the Senior Director of Marketing, noted,
“The ADDY awards demonstrate we are on the right track in creating powerful messages that resonate with our communities.” The aspirations behind these campaigns aim to inspire healthier lifestyles among residents, leading to stronger community ties and better overall health outcomes.
