Seven-Eleven Japan and Kanazawa School Team Up to Create New Local Products

Innovative Local Products from Kanazawa Students

Seven-Eleven Japan has taken a significant step towards community engagement by collaborating with students from Kanazawa Seisen Junior High School. This initiative kicked off in October 2024, following a local workshop themed around product development, aiming to teach students about marketing and entrepreneurship in a fun and engaging manner. The students collaborated with their peers to come up with six unique products that are set to launch at Seven-Eleven stores across Ishikawa, Toyama, Fukui, and Niigata prefectures starting June 16, 2025.

The partnership with Kanazawa Seisen Junior High is a part of a larger effort by Seven-Eleven Japan to stimulate local economies and empower the younger generation. The school is already known for promoting external workshops, with more than ten such initiatives conducted annually within the region. This not only nurtures young talents but also addresses regional challenges by infusing local flavors and traditions into the product development process.
