SyncLayer to Showcase Groundbreaking Networking Solutions at Cable Tech Show 2026

SyncLayer Inc., a leading provider of broadcasting and communication solutions, will participate in the upcoming Cable Tech Show 2026 held at Tokyo International Forum from July 23 to 24. This event is one of the largest exhibitions for the cable television industry in Japan, providing a platform for stakeholders, including cable operators and government agencies, to engage and explore the future of broadcasting technology.

The company's aim is to present comprehensive solutions addressing the challenges faced by communication infrastructure, regional digital transformation (DX), and underserved areas. A significant highlight will be the live demonstration of the world’s fastest commercial PON technology, "50G-PON," which was commercialized in Japan in March this year. This display promises to not only introduce the technology but also demonstrate its practical applications to solve operator challenges in the evolving landscape of next-generation networks.

Key Exhibits

Special Corner: 50G-PON

In this corner, SyncLayer will conduct a practical exhibition of the 50G-PON technology. Attendees can expect an insightful showcase that goes beyond mere technical introductions to present potential use cases that illustrate how this cutting-edge technology can be effectively integrated into operators' current offerings.

Shaping the Future of CATV Equipment

SyncLayer will demonstrate a broad range of essential broadcasting and communication equipment. This initiative is aimed at ensuring the stability and future scalability of daily operations within the cable services sector. Featured products will include:
  • - PON Solutions (GPON/EPON)
  • - New 10G-EPON ONU
  • - New UI Integrated Management System (live demonstration)
  • - Optical Termination Devices, among others.

Advancing Existing Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs)

SyncLayer will introduce communication enhancement methods tailored to the unique conditions of aging infrastructure and limited spaces typical in multi-dwelling units. This approach includes:
  • - Compact OLTs (e.g., 1U OLT/miniOLT)
  • - Indoor CMTS
  • - Optical Splitter Modules.

Future-Proofing Rural Areas

For regions where FTTH (Fiber to the Home) is challenging to implement, SyncLayer will offer solutions aimed at efficiently covering underserved zones, presenting them as new business opportunities. Solutions include:
  • - Pole-mounted Mini Subcenters (outdoor optical amplifiers, outdoor OLTs, and outdoor power supplies)
  • - HFC transmission equipment.

Fostering Regional DX

By showcasing BtoB and BtoG use cases that leverage local networks, SyncLayer aims to present new collaborative efforts with cable operators, including CCNet, in tackling community issues such as disaster prevention and tourism through initiatives like:
  • - Live demonstrations of WEB announcement systems
  • - Safety confirmation support service "Denpa De Miterukun"
  • - AR content features.

Seminars at the Cable Tech Show 2026

SyncLayer will conduct private seminars on both days of the event. On July 23, attendees will learn about the "Denpa De Miterukun" safety confirmation service and get an exclusive look at developments in wildlife detection using optical fiber. On July 24, discussions will center on innovative approaches to line quality and the future service directions for the era of 50G-OLT.
