Experience the Magic of ‘LIGHT WALK ODAIBA’ This Holiday Season in Tokyo

A Dazzling Transformation for the Holiday Season

Tokyo’s waterfront area is undergoing a festive transformation, and visitors will not want to miss the magical seasonal event known as ‘LIGHT WALK ODAIBA’. Running from December 4 to December 27, this dazzling illumination event is being organized by the ODAIBA Illumination Executive Committee, in collaboration with local businesses. Between these dates, the entire area will be enveloped in light, creating an enchanting atmosphere for both residents and tourists alike.

From December 14, a special version of the illumination will be unveiled, featuring an exciting collaboration with the iconic Japanese fashion brand, ANREALAGE. This will include a spectacular ‘Aerial Fashion Show’, showcasing designs from the brand's Spring/Summer 2026 Paris Collection. This stunning event will not only add cultural richness to the Odaiba waterfront area but will also provide a unique experience for visitors.

A Fusion of Light and Fashion

Starting on December 14, ‘LIGHT WALK ODAIBA’ will transform with enhanced illuminations. One of the highlights is the SEAGULL CLOCK on the Dream Bridge, the centerpiece of the event, where a celebratory glow will be projected in sync with the theme song ‘Snow Surprise’. The special illumination displays are designed to evoke the spirit of Christmas, enhancing the sensory experience with both visual and auditory elements.

Visitors can expect to see beloved characters, adorned in Santa hats, making appearances throughout the various illuminated spots, contributing to the festive cheer. As you stroll along the illuminated pathways, you can immerse yourself in a winter wonderland and enjoy seasonal experiences like no other.

The Groundbreaking Aerial Fashion Show

In a remarkable showcase, the selected pieces from ANREALAGE’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection will take to the skies in an aerial fashion presentation. This collection is themed around 'the visualization of life' and features captivating designs that play with color and form. On December 14, three screenings took place near the Dream Bridge, where a massive LED screen, suspended by drones, projected the collection’s striking looks against the night sky.

The models, adorned in vibrant outfits, seemed to walk through the night, as the dynamic visuals created a 3D effect that captivated the audience. The event turned the entire area into a space resonating with light and art, fostering a new wave of cultural vibrancy in the waterfront region.
