At the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Huawei made waves by launching its ambitious Digital Training 2.0 solution. This initiative is centered around cultivating ICT talents that cater to the ever-increasing demand for digital professionals worldwide. The event, aptly named "Cultivating ICT Talent to Amplify Digital Education," served as the backdrop for this unveiling, highlighting Huawei's commitment to enhance educational outcomes globally.

Li Junfeng, Huawei's Vice President and CEO of the Global Public Sector Business Unit, noted that intelligent technologies are significantly enhancing digital productivity. As the "smart economy" emerges as a key growth driver, it’s evident that there is a pressing need to equip students and professionals with the skills required to navigate this landscape.

In collaboration with international entities like UNESCO, Huawei’s ICT Academy is making strides. They currently provide quality training to over 300,000 learners each year. This partnership underscores Huawei’s belief that effective training and skill development can reshape the ICT workforce.

Daniele Cesarini, Project Manager at CINECA, also discussed Italy’s advancements in supercomputing infrastructures for research, showcasing how these developments are paving the way for better educational frameworks supported by technology.

Huawei's approach to campus settings through the Smart Campus initiative relies heavily on innovative technologies like Wi-Fi 7, which optimizes wireless networks and enhances user experiences for students and educators alike. Flora Ng, a prominent figure at the University of Hong Kong, elaborated on how these smart solutions facilitate more efficient learning environments.

Moreover, institutions such as the Quanzhou Vocational and Technical University, in partnership with Huawei, have seen impressive outcomes, with 790 students earning Huawei certifications in various ICT fields in 2024.

Huawei is also introducing a progressive integration of various solutions, which combine elements like Smart Classrooms and Scientific Research Computing under the umbrella of "1+3" scenarios. These initiatives are already benefiting over 7,800 clients across 120 countries, marking significant strides in educational technology.
