A Landmark Opening: Hall of Excellence at Fontainebleau Las Vegas
On June 18, 2025, the glittering city of Las Vegas was graced with a monumental occasion as seven-time Super Bowl champion
Tom Brady, alongside broadcasting stalwart
Jim Gray and Fontainebleau Development’s Chairman and CEO
Jeffrey Soffer, inaugurated the
Hall of Excellence at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. This innovative museum represents a unique confluence of sports and entertainment history, celebrating the most significant moments and figures that have shaped our past.
The Hall of Excellence is set to open to the public on
June 20, and it promises to be a visual diary of accomplishments that inspire future generations. At a press conference marking this event, Brady emphasized the communal spirit that binds success stories, stating, “Everybody in the Hall of Excellence has people that inspired them, that supported them, that held them up.” He further elaborated on the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving greatness.
“There's no greater destination in the world for this 'Smithsonian' of sports artifacts,” Brady proclaimed, claiming that the Hall of Excellence might be even more extensive than what one would find at the Smithsonian itself.
The inauguration saw the attendance of notable figures from the realms of sports and entertainment, including
Frann Vettor-Gray, relatives of Kobe Bryant, and a roster of sports broadcasting legends. Each speaker at the event echoed the theme of excellence, with Gray passionately articulating, “The Hall of Excellence is more than a museum; it is a movement.” He encapsulated the journey of those honored within, advocating for the importance of perseverance, sacrifice, and social responsibility.
Jeffrey Soffer reflected on the essence of the museum, stating, “It’s come together in such a way, it’s beyond what I ever thought it would be.” He expressed his excitement about being able to relive cherished milestones through the museum's exhibits, taking visitors back to their childhood memories and providing context to iconic moments.
