Tongji SEM Achieves Historic Milestone in Global Rankings



On September 8, 2025, the Financial Times released its highly anticipated Global Master in Management Ranking for 2025, showcasing educational institutions worldwide. Among the featured schools, Tongji University School of Economics and Management (Tongji SEM) has made a remarkable leap to secure the 8th position globally. This achievement marks an important milestone, as it is the first time Tongji SEM has entered the top 10, maintaining a position within the top 25 for four consecutive years.

Outstanding Performance Indicators


Tongji SEM's program has excelled in key metrics. It ranked 1st globally for value for money and achieved a 100% employment rate for its graduates within three months for three consecutive years. Moreover, the school secured the 13th spot for Career Service and 14th for Career Progress.

About 90% of students reported that they achieved their academic goals, which included enhanced management skills and a broader global perspective. The school’s alumni network continues to expand globally, providing resources across five continents, thus offering support for current students and alumni in terms of career opportunities and intercultural exchange.

Several factors contribute to Tongji SEM's success. The school has made remarkable strides in internationalization, experiential learning, and the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into its curriculum. The program is offered in English and supports various cohorts of students.
