Next Entre: A Promising Platform for Student Entrepreneurs at CEATEC 2025

At CEATEC 2025, held at Makuhari Messe, 01Booster Capital organized an inspiring event called "Next Entre" that aims to discover and nurture the next generation of leaders in various industries. This student pitch competition saw nine aspiring entrepreneurs take the stage to present their innovative ideas to an audience comprised of industry officials, educators, local government representatives, and startup supporters.

Throughout the event, each student shared their individual journeys, highlighting personal experiences and perspectives on pressing societal issues. The pitches covered a variety of significant topics such as technology, local community revitalization, sustainability, education, and welfare. The focus was not only on the feasibility of their concepts but also on each pitcher's passion and a strong sense of responsibility towards their proposed ideas. This emotional connection played a critical role in how the presentations were received and assessed.

A total of 15 participating organizations, including startups, investors, and media representatives, took part in the evaluation process. Each entity assessed the pitches based on their expertise and areas of interest, providing unique insights and feedback that contributed to a dynamic review atmosphere. As a result, different awards were presented to students by the participating companies, further instilling motivation for young entrepreneurs.

The event was successfully designed to create opportunities for students to connect directly with businesses, leading to productive dialogues and potential support for their future endeavors. Many participants felt that the experience was highly valuable and impactful, which reiterates the importance of fostering connections in practical settings.

Looking towards the future, Next Entre emphasizes the importance of ongoing support for students, wishing to avoid the pitfalls of a one-off contest. They are considering offering mentorship both before and after the presentations, as well as assisting students in refining their entrepreneurial concepts. Following this successful event, plans for continued collaboration and expansion are already in the works, aiming to invite more students and partner organizations for even greater engagement post-2026.
