As the demand from Indian tourists to Japan continues to surge, this seminar aims to equip participants with valuable insights on capturing this lucrative market.

Zenken, headquartered in the Minato ward of Tokyo and led by President Junichirou Hayashi, is set to explore the opportunities presented by a rapidly expanding demographic: Indian travelers. The seminar will feature key industry figures, including Takuya Toshizumi, a tourism development producer from JTB's Yokohama branch, and an advisor from NSDCI, Mr. Koyama, who will discuss the latest strategies and initiatives aimed at tapping into the Indian tourist market.

According to statistics from the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), the number of Indian tourists visiting Japan is projected to reach 233,000 in 2024, showcasing a remarkable 40% year-on-year increase. This figure indicates that Indian travelers are becoming a significant sector within Japan's tourism landscape, reflective of an unprecedented growth trend. Furthermore, as indicated in the consumption trends survey by the Japan Tourism Agency, Indian tourists represent higher-than-average spending levels, with each visitor spending approximately 240,000 yen and enjoying an average stay of 16.3 nights, which significantly outpaces the average of 20 major countries worldwide.
