Tokubigumi Fest 2025. Led by President Masahiro Aono, Marui continues to expand its events focusing on supporting individual interests.
What is the Tokubigumi Fest 2025?
The
Tokubigumi, which consists of six revered swords held in the Tokugawa Art Museum located in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, are celebrated through this festival. The six swords include:
Namizoe Toshiro, Goto Toshiro, Motoyoshi Sadamune, Nanzan Ichimonji, Honzaki Nagayo, and
Gomatsuri Gayo. This unique event predominantly features merchandise inspired by the Tokubigumi collection.
In 2025, the festival will mark the 90th anniversary of the Tokugawa Art Museum, with a grand exhibition showcasing national treasures and important cultural properties. Following a highly praised first edition of the festival in February 2025, the second phase complements this milestone with exclusive collaborative items that promise to add flair and joy to your outings.
