Introduction of Form LottoPay
Fukui Prefecture has recently integrated an innovative digital voucher sales system known as Form LottoPay (FLP) into its smartphone application, Fuku App. Developed by Core Mobile, this system streamlines the entire process of purchasing digital premiums via lottery, ensuring a seamless experience for users. The collaboration aims to enhance the digital lifestyle of Fukui residents through smart technology.
A Smooth Transition to Digital
In an interview, Tatsuya Hosokawa, CEO of Fukui Digital, explained the decision to integrate FLP was primarily due to its compatibility with existing applications and its capacity to handle the entire sales process—from application through to purchase—within a single platform. Users can now access lottery systems through the Fuku App without the need to navigate external web browsers or register new email addresses, significantly improving user experience (UX).
The user-friendly nature of FLP allows residents to complete all necessary steps—from application to verifying lottery results—directly within the app interface. This streamlined UX is a substantial advantage for encouraging widespread usage among the citizens of Fukui.
Flexibility and Reduced Operational Load
Another key feature of FLP is its flexibility, which alleviates operational burdens for administrators. The program is structured to accommodate different issuance volumes for large and small businesses, necessitating a tailored approach to meet diverse operational demands. FLP permits the creation and registration of individual application pages (forms) to align with these various conditions, allowing operational parameters like application limits and maximum purchase quantities to be adjusted seamlessly.
Robust Performance During High Demand
During the launch of the premium voucher project, surges in access are expected, particularly when applications open. To combat potential risks of system downtime, FLP employs a fully serverless architecture. This design guarantees stable operation even during periods of intense demand, minimizing the concerns typically associated with heavy traffic spikes.
Tatsuya Hosokawa expressed gratitude for Core Mobile's technical expertise and support, which facilitated a swift and efficient implementation process. The project aims to leverage the FLP system to foster digital advancement and boost the local economy throughout Fukui Prefecture.
