Before his tenure at Northrop Grumman, Caylor held leadership roles in banking, capital markets, and technology development. His career began at Hughes Aircraft Company, where he led commercial business development and engineered spacecraft systems. Caylor holds a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and two master's degrees, one in aeronautics and astronautics from Caltech and another in business administration from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.
