Pudu Robotics Unveils Self-Cleaning Docking Station for PUDU CC1 Series

Pudu Robotics, a global frontrunner in service robotics, took a significant step towards revolutionizing automated cleaning by introducing the self-cleaning docking station for its PUDU CC1 series. This state-of-the-art solution is designed to enhance cleaning efficiency while minimizing manual intervention, setting a new standard for hands-free operations in the cleaning industry.

Enhanced Efficiency and Innovation

The self-cleaning docking station allows the PUDU CC1 robots to conduct automated cleaning cycles, ensuring critical cleaning components remain in optimal condition. This innovative feature drastically reduces the need for routine maintenance, streamlining operations for facilities managers and operators. The self-cleaning mechanisms offer a breakthrough in maintaining cleanliness efficiently, thus helping businesses maintain hygienic environments with minimal human oversight.

Key Features of the Self-Cleaning Docking Station

1. Deep Cleaning Technology: Equipped with a powerful 100W ultrasonic module and a hot water system reaching temperatures of 65°C (149°F), it ensures thorough cleaning of the rubber brush, effectively removing dirt and debris to prevent secondary contamination.

2. Automatic Brush Cleaning: Post every cleaning cycle, the CC1 attaches to the docking station for automatic cleaning of the rotating brush. This sophisticated system eliminates over 95% of residues, preventing tangles and prolonging the lifespan of the brush.

3. Smart Spot Detection and Response: Integrated with the CC1 Pro's stain detection technology, the system establishes a closed-loop workflow that allows the robot to detect stains, dock for cleaning, and resume operations seamlessly, preventing contamination spread and maintaining high cleaning standards.

4. 35 Times Improved Maintenance Efficiency: By automating daily cleaning routines for the rubber brush and rotating brush, it slashes maintenance tasks from several minutes daily to a simple weekly water tank rinse.

5. Versatile Configuration: The modular design features rapid-switch configurations, accommodating a standard docking station, a self-cleaning dock, or the Pro version, ensuring compatibility across various facility types—from small shops to large establishments.

6. Easy Maintenance Design: The rotary brush cleaner, rubber brush, and water tank can be disassembled quickly and without tools, enabling instant maintenance by a single operator.

In addition to these innovations, the self-cleaning docking station retains all primary functions of the original docking station, including automated refilling, draining, detergent dosing, and charging capabilities. It is also compatible with the mobile water station, catering to facilities without direct plumbing access.

A New Benchmark for Autonomous Cleaning

"The self-cleaning docking station makes it easier than ever for businesses to maintain consistent cleaning performance," said Felix Zhang, founder and CEO of Pudu Robotics. "By allowing robots to clean themselves, we have created a truly hands-free, unattended operational system, drastically enhancing operational efficiency and setting new benchmarks for what autonomous cleaning can achieve for our customers."

Launch at CMS Berlin 2025

The new self-cleaning docking station will be presented at CMS Berlin 2025, taking place from September 23 to 26 at Messe Berlin, Germany. Attendees can explore this groundbreaking product at pavilion 2.2, booth 218.
