Sunrise World Deformed Robot Fair Vol. 2

Starting on July 17, 2023, six Sunrise World stores located in Tokyo, Yokohama, Hakata, Kyoto, Sendai, and Koshigaya will commence the Deformed Robot Fair Vol. 2, organized by Bandai Namco Filmworks. This fair will spotlight popular mecha such as Billbine from Aura Battler Dunbine, L-Gaim Mk-II from Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Zeta Gundam, King Exkaiser, Zegapain Altair, and Lancelot from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.

Following the successfully held Deformed Robot Fair in March 2025, this year's edition marks an exciting return. Renowned illustrator Takaji Yokoi has crafted new illustrations for six deformed robots that will be featured in exclusive merch available during the event.
Additionally, customers purchasing goods worth 3,000 yen (tax included) will receive a randomly selected mini-color paper featuring original illustrations by artists like Kunio Okawara, Takahiro Yamada, and Michiyasu Yamane, celebrating the anniversaries of iconic works such as The Five Star Stories (45th anniversary), The Invincible Raijin-Oh (35th anniversary), and Escaflowne (30th anniversary).

Fair Exclusives
In this fair, exclusive products featuring new designs inspired by Yokoi’s artwork will be sold at all six stores. More importantly, a unique limited series of framed art with Yokoi’s autograph will be available exclusively at Sunrise World Tokyo on July 19, 2026. Each of these six unique pieces is limited to 25 units and is priced at 19,800 yen (tax included).

Customers looking to purchase the signed art must follow specific guidelines. Starting from 11:30 AM, they are requested to line up at the entrance of Bandai Namco Cross Store in Tokyo. Orders will be taken in a first-come, first-served manner until noon when a lottery ticket will be issued for the purchase, following the successful answering of a quiz in Japanese.
If selected, winners will be able to make their purchases by 2 PM, with further announcements about any cancellations to follow. Each purchase has a limit of one item per transaction.

Exclusive Merchandise Giveaway
Throughout the fair, customers will also receive a random mini-color sheet featuring original illustrations for every 3,000 yen spent, at the participating stores. Customers should note that supplies are limited, and offerings will conclude once the stock runs out.
The café section will not participate in this promotion.

Furthermore, customers can leave messages at the dedicated message corner in Sunrise World Tokyo while being informed about special events through the reverse side of the message board, where they will find updates regarding the official Sunrise Channel on YouTube.
