Aduna Accelerates Global Network API Adoption
At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, Aduna, a prominent global aggregator of standardized network APIs, unveiled significant milestones that illustrate the rapid growth and international acceptance of telecom network APIs. The company has forged partnerships with 15 leading providers focusing on digital identity, fraud prevention, and communications, with even more collaborations in the pipeline.
This momentum follows Aduna's strategic collaboration formed in 2025 with Comviva, a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra known for its expertise in digital transformation solutions, particularly in enhancing customer experience, data monetization, and digital financial services. As a result of this partnership, the aggregated network APIs supported by CAMARA will now be accessible via Amazon Web Services (AWS), enabling enterprises to utilize standardized telecom capabilities through a trusted cloud platform.
Aduna was established in July 2025 as a joint venture between Ericsson and 12 of the world's foremost telecom operators, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefonica, Vodafone, Bharti Airtel, Jio, KDDI, Singtel, and Telstra. The objective of Aduna is to provide seamless access to standardized, interoperable network APIs via a centralized platform, thus simplifying the process for developers and businesses alike.
In building on the open-source CAMARA initiative—which is a collaborative project spearheaded by the GSMA and the Linux Foundation—Aduna is positioned as a key player in enhancing developer access to advanced mobile network capabilities across various carriers worldwide. The platform has emerged as a critical hub for aggregators, hyperscalers, solution providers, and digital-native enterprises aiming to scale services on a global stage without the intricacies associated with fragmented telecom integrations.
Since its inception, Aduna has significantly broadened its network reach, now offering API services in the United States, Germany, Spain, Canada, France, and the Netherlands. In the upcoming months, services will extend to countries such as Australia, Brazil, India, Greece, Singapore, Thailand, and the United Kingdom, thereby expanding its coverage to 40 mobile operators and facilitating aggregated access to telecom network capabilities at a global scale.
The further development of additional supply- and demand-side partnerships is currently underway, underscoring the positive momentum that Aduna has experienced since its joint venture became fully operational in 2025.
