On September 16, 2026, in a noteworthy transaction, Tiger Commercial & Industrial (C&I), a division of Tiger Group, successfully completed a sale of high-precision machinery and equipment, totaling approximately $6 million. This sale, involving assets from Lor-Van Manufacturing and Apex Machining, aims to generate recoveries for secured creditors, lessors, and other stakeholders involved in the assets.
The assets, which were stored in Santa Clara, encompassed a wide range of machining, fabrication, and inspection machinery, as well as warehouse support equipment, raw materials, and vehicles. Notable items included CNC machining centers, automated pallet systems, CNC lathes, fiber laser cutting equipment, RoboDrills, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) used for inspections.
Prominent manufacturers featured in this sale included Makino, Yasda Precision Tools, Mori Seiki, Haas, Fanuc, Amada, Kitamura, Haeger, Kaeser, and Mitutoyo. Among the most significant assets sold was a Makino automated machining cell, which consisted of two A51NX horizontal machining centers, fetching a price of over $600,000.
