New Long-Term Efficacy of CARVYKTI® in Multiple Myeloma

Recent results from a long-term follow-up study indicate that CARVYKTI® (ciltacabtagene autoleucel) may significantly extend the duration of remission in patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. Remarkably, of the 10 patients that achieved remission, multiple had high-risk cytogenetic profiles, indicating that even those with more challenging disease features could experience positive outcomes with CARVYKTI®.

Safety Profile Consistency

The safety profile from the extended follow-up indicated consistency with earlier findings regarding CARVYKTI®. No noteworthy new forms of neurotoxicity were reported. However, there were instances involving progressive disease and a new hematologic malignancy (acute myeloid leukemia) in some patients, highlighting the importance of ongoing monitoring in treating this complex disease.
