For years, Solo Sauna Tune has catered to individuals seeking a quiet and calming sauna experience, welcoming approximately 46,000 guests since its opening. However, the demand for shared sauna experiences among couples, families, and friends has resulted in an increasing need for communal spaces. To address this, the facility will now include private sauna rooms for 2 to 4 people, allowing guests of all ages and genders to connect and unwind together.

A New Era for Sauna Culture

Japan traditionally features segregated sauna spaces for men and women, often separated by curtains. Solo Sauna Tune aims to break these barriers by providing an inclusive environment where anyone can relax together, whether they be couples, friends, or family members. As the culture shifts towards shared experiences, the sauna will serve as a sanctuary for individuals to bond and enjoy their time together.

To enhance this novel experience, Solo Sauna Tune will feature an adjoining café, “Gather by UNPLAN.” Guests can indulge in leisurely moments before or after sessions, savoring the comforting ambiance while relishing the tranquility a sauna provides. Renovation Highlights

1. New Private Sauna Rooms: Extended accommodations will now include private rooms for up to 4 people alongside the existing solo rooms, allowing for varied group sizes.

The facility operates daily from 8:50 AM to 10:50 PM, starting reservations on October 13, 2025. Pricing will remain competitive; single rooms will be available for 5,000 yen for 80 minutes, with group rooms starting from 14,000 yen for 90 minutes, inclusive of amenities like towels, lotions, and cotton swabs.

In anticipation of this exciting launch, Solo Sauna Tune will commence a crowdfunding campaign on Makuake starting October 17, 2025. This campaign is not just about funding but aims to cultivate a new sauna culture devoid of societal barriers.
