Exciting ART & Technology Event 'DIG SHIBUYA 2026' Set to Unfold in February

Introducing DIG SHIBUYA 2026

The SHIBUYA CREATIVE TECH Executive Committee, in collaboration with Shibuya City, is thrilled to announce the third edition of the cultural event, DIG SHIBUYA 2026, set to take place from February 13 to 15, 2026. This extraordinary three-day event will showcase the intersection of technology and art, giving visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the latest cultural trends.

A Recap of Previous Editions

DIG SHIBUYA first launched in January 2024, and each subsequent event has surpassed the last in creativity and visitor engagement. The 2025 edition featured a spectacular drone show, walkable art created by renowned artist Ryuichi Oohira within controlled traffic areas, and a total of 33 programs that attracted around 450,000 attendees over four days.

Returning in 2026, DIG SHIBUYA aims to engage even more international creators and global communities through its Co-Creation Project. This initiative encourages entrepreneurs, innovators, and artists to collaborate, fostering an environment where new ideas can bloom.

Opportunities for Participation

To further enhance the event, the executive committee is seeking participants for its Co-Creation Project. Selected projects will benefit from venue provision, audience engagement support, and operational funds of up to 300,000 yen (tax excluded). This initiative aims to bridge technology and art, making a significant impact both locally and globally.
