GoTo Foods Appoints Lucy Brady as President of Jamba® to Drive Growth

GoTo Foods Welcomes Lucy Brady as President of Jamba

In a strategic move to bolster its portfolio, GoTo Foods, the parent company of various well-loved food brands, has recently named Lucy Brady as the new President of Jamba®. This appointment is part of a wider effort to strengthen leadership across its brands, which also include Auntie Anne's®, Moe's Southwest Grill®, Cinnabon®, Carvel®, and several others.

Background on Lucy Brady

Lucy Brady is no stranger to the food industry. She brings with her a wealth of experience from her previous roles, notably as the President of Grocery Snacks at Conagra Brands. During her tenure, she successfully managed a diverse portfolio worth $5 billion comprising over 60 brands. Moreover, her background at McDonald’s involved holding multiple senior leadership positions, particularly in strategy, innovation, and digital customer experience. Brady implemented significant growth initiatives, such as MyMcDonald's Rewards and digital ordering, which reshaped the customer experience at McDonald's.

Expanding Leadership Roles

Brady's appointment comes alongside other notable changes within GoTo Foods. Nathan Baldwin, who has efficiently led Auntie Anne's for over a year, will now take on the title of President of Specialty Brands. In this expanded role, he will oversee not only Cinnabon and Carvel but also the broader Co-Brands strategy of the company.

Meanwhile, Francisco Bram, who retains his position as Chief Growth Officer, will now take on the presidency of Moe's Southwest Grill. His focus will be on revamping Moe's brand identity and enhancing guest experiences, which is vital for driving profitability among franchisees.

Additionally, Biplav Misra steps into the expanded role of Chief Digital Technology Officer, merging GoTo Foods’ technology strategies with digital and off-premise operations.

A Time of Change for GoTo Foods

CEO Omer Gajial emphasized that these leadership enhancements come at a crucial moment for the company. He stated, “Strengthening our leadership structure will create greater organizational agility and allow us to remain focused on what matters most – growing category-leading brands, supporting franchisee success, and delivering experiences that keep guests coming back.”

The Future of Jamba

With her extensive background and strong leadership, Lucy Brady is expected to advance Jamba's operations significantly. She aims to work closely with franchisees and restaurant teams to not only solidify but also expand the brand’s market presence and reach. Brady expressed her enthusiasm, remarking, “Jamba is one of those rare brands that is instantly recognizable. I am excited to work alongside our brand, franchisee, and restaurant teams to make Jamba even more relevant to today's guests.”
