Huawei Cloud Stack Unveils Solutions for Telecom Transformation
At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, Huawei made a splash with the launch of six innovative solutions tailored for carriers. These are part of a wider initiative themed "Take a Cloud Leap to Transform from Telco to Techco," emphasizing the transition that many traditional telecommunications companies are undergoing.
The carrier landscape is rapidly changing, with many companies shifting from conventional telecommunications operations to more technology-oriented business models, termed techcos. Shang Haifeng, President of Huawei Hybrid Cloud, highlighted this movement, stating, "This transformation is not merely about adopting new technologies; it reshapes the role carriers play in a digital-first environment." The Telco2Techco Cloud Leap Program
Along with the release of these solutions, Huawei also launched the Telco2Techco Cloud Leap Program. Developed in collaboration with industry partners such as Orange and Zain Kuwait, this initiative aims to provide project assistance, marketing support, training, and resources to help carriers quickly adapt to their new techco roles.
The program emphasizes over 10 innovative service scenarios that align with carriers' strategic goals, ensuring a smooth transition and sustained growth.
